When did you start working at Pitt-Greensburg?
July 1996 – Started at the Pittsburgh Campus as a full-time staff member in the Academic Advising Center in the College of Arts and Sciences.
July 2000 - Started at Pitt-Greensburg as the Director of Career Services. In August 2016, I became the Director of Academic Advising and the Registrar.

Is there any other information you would like to share?
As a long-time staff member at the University, I have watched the University of Pittsburgh achieve many milestones. At the Greensburg campus, we foster a student-focused living- learning community for all students, and I am glad to be a part of this community. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside with my family and our dogs. Some of my favorite activities include kayaking, biking, gardening, traveling, and live music.

When did you start working at Pitt-Greensburg?
August 1999 - I started at the University of Pittsburgh as a Resident Director in Residence Life for 5 years. I oversaw various residence halls and staff members during my time in Pittsburgh.
October 2004 – Life took me in another direction after I met my husband and moved to the Greensburg area. I was fortunate enough to continue my Pitt career as an Academic Advisor on the Greensburg campus. I love working with students to assist them in completing their degree path as well as being a resource for all students at any time. I started working at Pitt in 1999 as a Resident Director in Oakland in several different buildings on campus over the years. I started here at Pitt-Greensburg in 2004 as an Academic Advisor. I love working with all of the wonderful and talented students at Pitt-Greensburg. In my "spare" time I love spending time with my family and friends.

I worked as the Area Coordinator in Residence Life at Seton Hill University for one year before returning to the Pitt system. My favorite hobbies include singing, baking, traveling, and playing percussion and keyboard in pit orchestras for high school and community theatres.

I worked as a Guidance Counselor at South Allegheny Middle School and Kiski Area Intermediate School before coming to Pitt-Greensburg. I was also a substitute teacher in several districts. Some of my hobbies are hanging out with my friends and watching the Steelers.

I have a profound interest in the intersection of education, philosophy, and practice. In addition to my responsibilities in the advising office, I assist with data and reporting projects. I also teach the occasional philosophy class - usually Logic. My hobbies include running, art, music (drums, mostly), and reading. I most enjoy quality time with my two children.

Before moving to Pennsylvania, I taught middle school Mathematics and English for 15 years. I have a great deal of practical experience in the field of Education and enjoy working with students of all ages. In my spare time I like to read, refinish furniture, and spend time with my family and friends.

For two years, I was a school counselor on a Navajo reservation in Arizona. I was also an advisor for “at-risk” youth who were attending CCAC. My hobbies include spending time with family & friends, camping, going to concerts, & cheering on the Pittsburgh sports teams (especially the Penguins).

I started working for Pitt-Greensburg in August of 2024. I am a Philadelphia native, but briefly lived in Norfolk, Virginia while pursuing my undergraduate degree at ODU. I then moved back to the Philly area to complete my master's degree in education at Villanova University. In my free time, I enjoy watching all Philadelphia sports teams, long-distance running, yoga, and spending time with my family and friends!
