Spanish Education

The Power of One World

The Pitt-Greensburg Spanish Education Program will prepare our candidates to become certifies in Spanish Education who are eligible to teach Spanish in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Open a new world of language and culture to countless students; you can be part of the growth of multilingual culture in schools.

Enter into the classroom the second semester to your freshman year, where you will practice your skills to touch the lives of Pre K - Grade 12 students of all learning levels.  Our Spanish Education majors are strongly encouraged and receive support to study abroad in a Spanish-speaking country to immerse themselves in the language and culture.  Additionally, half of your student teaching can occur in Bolivia!

As part of our award-winning SPSEA education club, you will benefit from professional development, activities with Pre K- Grade 12 students, and valuable networking opportunities.

As an educator, you have the power to change the world, one student at a time.
