Mrs. Amber Bugajski is a 2011 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a 2018 graduate of Robert Morris University with a Master of Science in Nursing – nursing education specialty. Mrs. Bugajski is currently working toward her Doctor of Nursing Practice as an adult and gerontology clinical nurse specialist. Mrs. Bugajski has worked as a professional staff nurse at UPMC McKeesport and UPMC East hospitals in the intensive care unit. She began her teaching career as a clinical education specialist at UPMC McKeesport Hospital and continues to work in this position on a casual basis at both UPMC East and McKeesport hospitals. Her academic teaching career began in 2020 as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing at Greensburg and Duquesne University School of Nursing where she taught clinical courses for students at the sophomore through senior levels. In 2022, Mrs. Bugajski joined the UPG campus as a full-time instructor teaching the Foundations to Nursing Practice course, skills laboratory, and clinical. In 2023, Mrs. Bugajski led the implementation of the high-fidelity simulation labs on the Greensburg campus and obtained her certification as a healthcare simulation educator (CHSE).
