Dorothy M Zilic

Director of Career Services

Dorothy joined the Pitt-Greensburg community in 2008 as Assistant Director of Career Services and became Director in 2016. She has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, previously holding positions in service learning, job development, and in career outreach for a 2+2+2 Electro-optics program. Dorothy's career-focused experience has led her to be part of executive boards in regional career consortia, such as Westmoreland Assists Native Talent (WANT) and the Pittsburgh Education Recruitment Consortium (PERC). She works with all academic years and majors on career exploration, gaining experience in one's field of study, job and internship search and graduate school planning. In addition to her work in Career Services, Dorothy has also taught sections of Career Exploration & Planning for more than 10 years, with sections focusing on such areas as Undecided students and Natural Science majors.
