Jennifer R. Ingram completed her Master's of Science in Biology from Chatham University in 2013. Her thesis "Metagenomic Analysis of Aquatic Microorganisms and Their Ability to Acquire Iron through the use of TonB-dependent Receptor Proteins" used bioinformatic methods to solve environmental and molecular questions about how certain bacteria take up iron into their membranes. She coordinates the first-year biology labs on campus as well as teaches Foundations of Biology, Biology Labs 1 & 2, & Science Cornerstone 1 & 2. She is an co-advisor to Science Club and an active member of Tri-Beta, Biological Honors Society.
