What brought you to Pitt-Greensburg?
I liked that I could be close to home and complete my entire degree in one location without having to commute to Oakland. I have family that are alumni of both the Oakland and Greensburg campuses.

Were you a commuter or a resident?
Commuter

What activities were you involved with as a student?
As a full-time mom and wife, I unfortunately was not able to be involved in other activities.

Did you have a favorite professor, staff member, coach, or mentor that really impacted your life?
All professors made an impact on my school career. Dr. Asplin was an amazing mentor that made me feel comfortable asking any question.

Of all the classes you took, what is the one class you would recommend everyone take? Who taught the class? Why would you recommend it?
To be honest, there is not just one class that impacted me. Every class taught me a new way to look at things.

What do you remember most vividly from your time at Pitt-Greensburg?
Meeting a wide array of people and learning from everyone that I came across.

What have you been up to since graduation?
I am now a registered behavior technician (RBT) with Achieving True Self, working with children who have Autism as well as behavior issues.

How did your experiences and education at Pitt-Greensburg prepare you for life after college?
My experiences helped pave my path for a successful career working in the mental health field.

As an alum, how do you support Pitt-Greensburg?
I keep in contact with peers as well as professors and assist anyone that has questions about Pitt-Greensburg.

What advice do you have for your fellow Bobcats?
My advice is to enjoy your college career. Focus on your profession of choice and don't be afraid to ask questions. All professors are there to help and guide you in anyway that they can. Not one professor will make you feel bad about yourself for asking for help.

For fun:
What song do you always sing along to?

I grew up in a music household and enjoy a wide range of music genres, such as classic, pop and Latin. I would have to say that Latin music is my favorite with PitBull being one of my top favorite artists.
